Congratulations to finalists from all over Queensland who worked so hard throughout 2009 to raise an amazing $525,000 for updating vital medical equipment and ageing aircraft. Finalists and guests attended the masquerade themed Gala Ball held at the Tattersall's Club on Saturday 21 November. Each finalist was presented with their trophy by Her Excellency, Ms Penelope Wensley AO, Governor of Queensland. Special guest judge Terri Irwin helped decide who best exemplified the 'Spirit of Queensland' along with the six member judging panel.
