Welcome to RFDS WA's Online Fundraising Community
Last year, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in WA assisted over 27,000 patients through our aero medical services and health clinics.
At just 6 weeks old, Evie Bell was one of the younger patients to receive our life-saving treatment and care. The Flying Doctor was called to fly Evie and her mum from Learmonth (near Exmouth) to Perth’s Princess Margaret Hospital. “Staff at the RFDS saved our baby girl” said Evie’s mum, Joe.
On average, the highly skilled RFDS doctors and nurses treat 25 patients per day, many with critical medical conditions, ranging from meningococcal meningitis (as in Evie’s case) to heart attacks and pre-term labour.
By supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service, you’ll directly help us deliver emergency medical services and primary health care to those living, working and travelling throughout Western Australia. Funds raised through our Community Program assist us in upgrading our aircraft, purchasing the latest medical and communications equipment.
There are many ways you can make a difference, including donating today, creating your own fundraising event or supporting an existing event.
We need your support and together, we’ll achieve great things.
